Since I have returned my books to Chegg, which is an online textbook rental company, I would like to give a follow-up review of their service. Renting books may be a novel idea, but I'm not sure it's one that is totally a good one. Renting the books may save you money upfront, but if you would like to keep that book or will need it for another class: just buy it! After deciding that I would keep my French book so that I may take a French 2 class, I noticed that purchasing the book I had been using would cost me the remaining list price amount. It wasn't cheap. If I had bought some used book upfront it would have saved me some money, and at the end I would have something to keep or sell if I so chose. This next semester I will be buying some (or all) of my books from Amazon.com I have already ordered 2/4 so far.
