Transferred Domain, Amazon Prime, and Amazon's Kindle

A few days ago I transferred my domain name to NameCheap. Only just recently have I configured the settings with my registrar to get the page back up and running. Thankfully, it wasn't too difficult after I got some help from someone in the live chat. I'll be surviving another year thanks to them.

In other news, I happened to win a $50 Sweepstakes at the school that I had entered by taking a survey for the cafeteria. That was quite a wonderful surprise. I think I'll put it towards upgrading my trial Amazon Prime subscription to a paid Amazon Prime Student subscription. I really do love Amazon's service.

With (paid) Amazon Prime I will get unlimited streaming access to many TV shows and movies offered by Amazon. Other than that I will also be able to check out a new book every month on my Kindle (among those offered for free under Prime that normally wouldn't be free). I'll also get the usual free 2-day shipping on Prime eligible items.

P.S. I really love my Kindle. Currently, I'm enjoying reading a really good free book. Previous to that I read Dracula. It's so convenient to carry around with me. I've got a 2 hour block of free time in-between my first and second class on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays that I use to either do homework or read.
